Meet Me at Midnight

Meet Me at Midnight

If you've found your way here, welcome.

My name is Jess, and I'm the creator behind Midnight Whispers.

For as long as I can remember, I've been a storyteller.

Sometimes that looked like writing. Sometimes it looked like photography, painting furniture, rescuing forgotten things, or creating something beautiful with my hands. I don't think creativity has ever been just a hobby for me. It's always been how I've made sense of the world.

Over the years, life handed me more than a few chapters I never would have chosen for myself.

There's been trauma, grief, loss, heartbreak, healing, motherhood, military service, and learning how to rebuild after everything feels broken.

One of the ways I've learned to navigate those experiences is through creating.

When my PTSD is loud, my hands need something to do.

Sometimes that means writing.

Sometimes it means designing labels at midnight.

Sometimes it means blending oils, pouring soap, testing lip balms, and turning simple ingredients into something beautiful.

Midnight Whispers was born from those quiet moments.

The hours when the house is asleep. When the world is finally still. When creativity becomes therapy and creating becomes its own form of healing.

This shop isn't just a collection of products.

It's a collection of rituals.

A warm cup of tea after a hard day.

A favorite soap waiting in the shower.

A lip balm tossed into your purse.

A small act of care that reminds you that you deserve softness, too.

Every item here is created with the hope that it brings a little comfort, beauty, or peace into someone's day.

Because sometimes healing isn't found in grand gestures.

Sometimes it's found in small rituals repeated over and over until they become a way back to yourself.

The Book Behind the Brand

Before Midnight Whispers became a shop, it was a story.

I recently published my memoir, Sex. Lies. Truths. & navigating the in between.

The book explores many of the experiences that shaped me—trauma, grief, love, healing, resilience, and learning how to begin again after life doesn't go according to plan.

Writing it was one of the hardest things I've ever done.

It was also one of the most healing.

If you've ever felt lost, broken, too much, not enough, or like you were trying to rebuild yourself one piece at a time, I think you'll find parts of yourself in those pages.

Midnight Whispers and Sex. Lies. Truths. were both born from the same belief:

That even after the hardest chapters, beauty can still exist.

That softness is not weakness.

And that sometimes the bravest thing we can do is keep creating anyway.

Thank you for being here.

I'm glad you found your way to this little corner of the internet.
